Lyle Dean Murray
April 18, 1936–January 2, 2021

Lyle Dean Murray, 84, of Foster, Oregon passed away Saturday at his home. He was born in Foster to Walter Lynn and Edith Anola (Yost) Murray.
He married his High School Sweetheart, Nancy Brown Ferebee. They were married 65 years. In his early marriage, Dean was a owner/operator in the logging industry. In 1967, he moved his family to the Oregon Coast where he became the manager of Winchester Bay Seafood Plant. In 1975, Dean became a broker in the Seafood Industry and moved his family to Southern California where he was very successful.
Dean and Nancy enjoyed traveling around the world and the many adventures with their family and friends. They moved back to Foster in 1990 and began a business in construction over the next decade.
Dean was an avid hunter and spent every year hunting with his family in the Cascades. He especially enjoyed gathering with his family and friends, telling stories, and singing songs. This is the legacy of joy he gave to his family during his entire lifetime.
Dean is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Foster; daughter Diane Mitchell and her husband, Rodney Mitchell, of Jefferson; son David Murray and his wife, Su Jin Jung, of Millersburg; brother Walter Lynn Murray of Foster; sisters Betty Ferebee of Foster and Teresa Ann Graham of Albany; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
