At a young age, Lucy's family immigrated from their home in Canada to Jaffrey, New Hampshire, then in about 1980 she and her young daughter moved to Sweet Home. It was in 1981 she met the love of her life, Gary Noah, and they later married.

Lucy worked for 30 years at the Twin Oaks Care Center where she made life-long friendships with all those she worked with and encountered.

She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved traveling and enjoying retirement with her husband as well.

Lucy is survived by her husband, Gary Noah, of Sweet home; four daughters and their spouses: Julie and Robert Leininger, Shellye and Tony Webb all of Sweet Home, Staci and Matt Corriea of Chico, California, Kaci Noah and partner Josh of Newport; three sisters: Paulette Poirier and Lucian of Joliette, Quebec, Carmen and Ed Van Blarcom of Jaffrey, New Hampshire and Jeanne and Will DuVal of Vero Beach, Florida; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Lorraine, and her older brother, Roland Poirier.
